Seth Rolls Over for the First Time!

This morning Seth rolled over for the first time. I had just given him a bath and I put him on our bed for some belly time. He pushed himself straight up nice and high so I went to get the camera. As I was snapping the photo he started to lean then eventually rolled over! This was a first. How exciting. We hope to try again tonight so Daddy can witness it.

Thanks to all those who have given me their two cents about feeding Seth. I'm not sure why they are having me start the solids so soon when 6 months is the recommended age. My cereal attempts have not been too bad, Seth still tends to cry through it. I am going to be in no hurry to move forward. I think I will keep trying the cereal once a day until he gets used to it, then move on to serving it twice a day.

Angela,

Please keep in mind through all parenting that you are his mom and you know him best no matter what the books or other people say. I happen to learn that that through many sleepless nights with Kendra that it was best to put her in her own bed earlier then the experts said she was ready. Once I gave into my motherly feeling her and I slept much better and through the night. So feed Seth how you feel he needs to be fed. Ephriam and Kendra have done things at different times and at their own pace. Ephriam's is a little slower then Kendra's was.

Remember too now that nothing is safe because he is on the move! It won't be long now before Seth is into all sorts of things.

isn't it so fun now that they can interact a little? It seems like Leah changes by the day! Such a cute picture, he looks very proud of himself :)
