Since the Christmas season is upon us, I just wanted to reiterate the true reason for the season. Though organizations like the ACLU may try to make the holiday void of Christ, I have been pleasantly surprised lately how many places are bringing back "Merry Christmas". I have been hearing it said on the radio, tv and it being exchanged in festive pleasantries between two strangers. Christ's Spirit dwells among us, and that should make us all truly joyful.
So, now, I hand it over to Linus. Maybe it's just me, but every time I listen to this clip, it makes my eyes well up with tears. I pray everyone has a wonderful Christmas and safe, healthy 2007!

You Can't Do That in Pottery Class
OK, so I'm taking a beginner pottery class with Evan. We decided it might be a cool hobby and in Evan's ideal dream world, a potential source of income. ha! Anyway, we're enjoying class but it's definitely more challenging than it looks.
Evan was having a mini rant about how every time he mentions to someone that he and his wife are taking a pottery class, the person almost always makes some mention of the pottery scene in the movie Ghost, with Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze. Let me just get this out in the open: No, we don't do anything close to that scene, and besides, we're beginners. We're paying very close attention to our clay, not each other. :o)
For those of you that either don't know the movie scene I'm referring to, or just want to watch it for good times, I'm going to post it. I warn you not to watch the entire clip. It gets rather steamy and I think someone made some alterations to it. Once the scene is no longer about pottery, feel free to abort.

Thanks to Sarah Cool and Kris
These two fine chicas have convinced me that myspace is dumb (i only signed up to keep up with a friend in Florida), whether they know it or not. I had been thinking myspace, literally "my" space did not get enough traffic from friends to warrant my attention. I'm not saying this blog will either, but maybe it will be more fun. Maybe I'll even throw in a few rants from Evan, since I know you all miss them so much! ha. Stay tuned for more entries and pics!
